Privacy Policy

RashiPothi is run by Hatchnix from Odisha, India. This page explains what we collect when you use rashipothi.com, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

Your birth details stay on your device

Your name, birth date, time and place are used to calculate your Kundali inside your own browser. We do not save your birth details or your calculated chart on our servers.

If you ask the Jataka chat a question, the question and a short summary of your chart are sent to our AI provider so it can write an answer. We do not store your chat questions or answers.

What we do store

  • Your account email, display name, role and sign-in timestamps, if you create an account.
  • A random guest ID in a secure cookie, so free visit and chat limits work without an account.
  • Visit and chat counters used to apply those limits.
  • Payment order records: order ID, amount, pass length, status and payment time.
  • Basic security and audit logs for admin changes.

Payments

Payments are handled by Cashfree Payments. You enter your UPI, card or bank details on Cashfree's secure page, not on ours. The mobile number you enter at checkout goes to Cashfree for the payment and is not saved in our database. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, OTP or bank password.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand which pages people visit and where the site needs work. It records things like page views, device type and approximate country. We set it up so it does not record what you type into forms.

Service providers

We share only what each service needs to do its job:

  • Neon, for our database and account sign-in.
  • Cashfree Payments, for checkout.
  • OpenCode Go and the AI model provider it routes to, for AI chat answers.
  • Photon by Komoot, for birth place search.
  • PostHog, for analytics.
  • Cloudflare and Hetzner, for hosting and security.

We do not sell your personal data.

Your choices

You can use the free Kundali without an account. If you have an account and want your data deleted, email [email protected] from your account email and we will delete it within 30 days. We keep payment records for as long as Indian tax law requires.
